Fire at the former North Wales Hospital site in Denbigh
PostedCrews are currently in attendance at a fire at the former North Wales Hospital site in Denbigh. North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 12.28pm today (Wednesday 4th April.)
Appliances from Denbigh, Ruthin, Rhyl, Holywell, Abergele, and Mold as well as the aerial ladder platform and the incident command unit from Rhyl are in attendance at the incident.
The roof of the building is involved in the fire leaving the building in an unsafe condition. Firefighters will remain on scene for some time in order to extinguish the fire.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area to allow the emergency services to deal with the incident.
