Crews attended a fire involving the pier in Colwyn Bay at 4.36pm yesterday (Friday 10^th March).

Crews from Colwyn Bay and Llandudno attended the incident. As a result of the tide coming in it was not possible to completely confirm that the fire was extinguished and as a result one crew remained at the scene throughout the night.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally as the result of hot metal igniting timber, after cutting work.
