Chemical spill on the A55
PostedFire crews from Colwyn Bay, Bangor, Abergele and Wrexham are in attendance at an incident involving a chemical spill on the A55.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service's control room received a call at 10.48am this morning (Tuesday 22nd March) reporting a chemical spill from a vehicle on the A55 westbound between junction 21 and 22.
Appliances from Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Bangor and Wrexham, the incident response unit and the environmental protection unit are in attendance at the incident.
The A55 is closed in both directions and the public are advised to find alternative routes as the emergency services bring the incident under control.
