Crews were called to a fire in Allt Goch Lane, Northop at 5.50pm on Wednesday 27^th May.

Five appliances, the Environmental Protection Unit, the Foam Carrier and the Incident Command Unit are in attendance at the incident.

The fire involves a silage pit covered in tyres which resulted in black smoke being visible in the area earlier this evening.

Natural Resources Wales has officers on site to assist the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and assess the potential impact of this incident on the environment.
