Firefighters are currently in attendance at the scene of a house fire near Caernarfon at which the body of a man has been found

Two fire crews from Caernarfon were called to reports of a fire at a property on Penrallt, Saron at 16.49hrst today (Tuesday 15^th December).

On arrival firefighters were confronted with a heavily smoke logged property and located a casualty, believed to be in his 80s. Crews used a hose reel jet and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the fire. 

A joint investigation into the cause of the fire by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police is now underway.
