Crews were called to a caravan park on Abbey Road, Llangollen at 23:11hrs last night, Monday February 13 to deal with reports of a caravan well alight.

Two crews from Llangollen and a crew from Chirk used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to tackle the fire.

Sadly, the body of a man thought to be in his 40s was found in the caravan.

A joint investigation with North Wales Police is now underway.
