North Wales BikeSafe
North Wales Bikesafe workshops are subsidised by the North Wales Police and North Wales Road Safety partnerships. As such the workshops and other activity that BikeSafe provides is subject to a subsidised fee of just £65 per rider.
North Wales BikeSafe workshops are designed to offer education consistent with all other BikeSafe areas in the UK. The aim is to provide up to date information on what are the main ingredients that cause an accident. With the aid of animated crash scenarios depicted on a DVD you will discuss the solutions. There is then an enjoyable practical road element over approximately 60 miles taking you round the roads of North Wales and Snowdonia National Park. BikeSafe does not offer radio communication but regular debriefs of your ride which incorporates a demonstration and assessment.
The rides are risk assessed and on no more that a one-to-three ratio but almost always less. This ensures that you are riding within your ability and speed which is ultimately no more than the legal and safe limits. The whole experience offers something for all skill levels that have passed their motorcycle test – whenever it was! This is your chance to take advantage of riding with like minded professionals in a safe learning environment.
