Station History:
The original Holyhead fire station was located on Cleveland Avenue but was relocated to it's current position in 1965. The old station was then used as a wood depot by Anglesey Timber and, after remaining vacant for some years, was demolished and turned into "Yr Hen Gorsaf" flats.
As well as being committed supporters of the Jesse Hughes Community Centre, Holyhead station also took part in arranging and carrying out aid to Romania in the refurbishment of an orphanage in Budapest.
