Built in 1968, Barmouth fire station was originally part of the Meirionydd and Gwynedd fire service, changing to North Wales Fire Service during the 1996 amalgamation. Previously, Barmouth Station was on King Edward's Street where there is now a camping shop, and before that the station was located on Church Street.
Work in the community:
Barmouth help run the annual fireworks event in the town and have community groups such as the Brownies visiting the station.
